Coffee is one of the most widely enjoyed beverages in the world. The origin of the word comes from the Arabic “qahway” which literally means “that which prevents sleep“.
Produced by coffee trees, small shrubs that grow in humid regions that can be hot depending on the variety (Arabica or Robusta), coffee is grown in more than 70 countries.
Aymara Food Arabica coffee is grown according to organic and biodynamic agriculture practices in several Latin American producing countries, including: Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Mexico, etc.
We offer different varieties of exceptional green grains: Caturra, Bourbon, Icatu, Geisha, Catimor, among others. Our beans are sold green, washed and dried, ready to be roasted.

A few months after the coffee tree flowers, fleshy red fruits appear: coffee cherries, each containing two coffee beans.
After harvesting, the fruits are sorted according to their quality, the thin skin around the coffee beans is removed and then they too are sorted.
Then comes the essential stage of roasting, which releases the aromas and gives the distinctive flavour to each type of coffee. Roasting is carried out between 180°C and 240°C for a length of time that varies depending on the desired colour and taste.

- Source of Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5).
- Produces beneficial effects on sporting performance. Caffeine may have possible effects on adrenaline, muscle contraction and the central nervous system by reducing feelings of fatigue and increasing endurance.
To avoid any side effects, coffee should be enjoyed in moderation – about two or three cups a day (equivalent to three espressos).
