Organic Cocoa Powder

Cocoa powder is produced from 100% organic Nativo cocoa beans from shrubs that grow in Peru in mineral-rich volcanic soil. The powder is obtained by a traditional cold pressing process using fermented and sun-dried beans. The result is a pure, unmodified and unsweetened cocoa powder.

Benefits:

  • High source of flavonoids, a powerful antioxidant.
  • High source of theobromine, a natural antidepressant and aphrodisiac.
  • High source of magnesium, which reduces the risk of osteoporosis.
  • Rich in fatty and healthy acids, valuable enzymes, iron, magnesium, amino acids such as tryptophan, arginine and dopamine.
  • The University of Michigan Integrative Medicine states that cocoa can decrease LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, reduce the risk of blood clots, increase blood flow in arteries, lower high blood pressure and improve cognitive performance.
  • Many studies have shown that cocoa is a true superfood with major health benefits.
